School Wide Expectations
The International Scholars Academy is a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) school. Our schoolwide expectations are built around the 3 R’s:
At ISA, teachers and staff consistently model these expectations for our scholars. We also acknowledge, reward, and celebrate students who demonstrate exemplary behavior and contribute positively to our school community.
The 3 Rs at ISA
Respectful: ISA Scholars treat others with dignity, empathy, and kindness. They value diverse perspectives, uplift their classmates, and contribute to a positive and caring school community.
Responsible: They take ownership of their learning, choices, and actions. ISA Scholars hold themselves to high expectations, embrace challenges, and demonstrate perseverance, integrity, and accountability.
Ready: Academy scholars arrive prepared—academically, socially, and emotionally. Ready to think deeply, collaborate, and participate meaningfully, ISA Scholars consistently model strong work habits and a growth mindset.
