Elementary School KG-5/Primary Years Program Clubs

Empowering Student Choice & Passion Every Friday!

At the International Scholars Academy, our Elementary PYP Clubs give students the opportunity to pursue their interests and discover new passions in a fun, collaborative environment. Each quarter, students select a new club based on what excites them most, allowing them to explore a variety of skills and experiences throughout the school year.
Our clubs—ranging from Kindness, Charity, Cooking, Crochet, Drama, Dance, Art, Science/STEM, Crafts, Gaming, and Global Awareness—bring together learners from multiple grade levels. This structure encourages older students to support younger peers, fostering leadership, teamwork, and positive relationships across the school.
Guided by teachers but driven by student voice and choice, each club engages in hands-on projects that reflect the spirit of the PYP: taking action, showing empathy, and contributing to the community. Whether creating art, preparing treats, appreciating staff, or engaging in service projects, our students learn that their ideas, choices, and actions truly make a difference.

Middle School & High School Clubs (Grades 6-12)/MYP-DP

At ISA, clubs are an essential part of our school culture. They offer students the chance to explore their interests, discover their talents, and develop leadership skills in meaningful and engaging ways. Our clubs are student-initiated and student-driven, empowering scholars to take ownership of their learning beyond the classroom. Through collaboration, creativity, and service, our students build confidence, strengthen friendships, and make a positive impact on the school and wider community.
Below are the clubs currently offered for Middle and High School students:

Community Service Club
The Community Service Club is dedicated to helping others through acts of kindness and service. Students organize food and clothing drives, volunteer initiatives, and school-wide campaigns to support local shelters, families in need, and global causes. This club builds empathy, social responsibility, and a spirit of giving.

Student Government Association (SGA)
SGA provides students with a platform to develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Members represent their peers, collaborate with administration, and plan school-wide events such as spirit days, assemblies, and community-building activities. SGA fosters student voice and strengthens the school culture.

Model United Nations (MUN)
In Model United Nations, students step into the shoes of diplomats and engage in high-level discussions about global issues. Through research, public speaking, and debate, students learn about international relations, conflict resolution, and world politics. MUN participants often attend conferences to collaborate and compete with other schools.

National Honor Society (NHS)
The National Honor Society recognizes students who excel academically and exemplify the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members participate in service projects, serve as role models for younger students, and contribute to the school community through academic support and leadership opportunities.

Red Cross Club
As part of the Red Cross network, students learn about humanitarian service, emergency preparedness, and health awareness. Members organize safety training, blood drive support, and community outreach programs. This club empowers students with real-world skills and opportunities to serve during times of need.

Yearbook & Photography Club
Creative students take the lead in documenting the school year through photography, design, and storytelling. Members capture events, interview peers, develop visual themes, and produce the annual yearbook. This club enhances students’ skills in photography, editing, layout design, and teamwork.
