International Scholars Academy (ISA) is honored to serve the students and families of the school community. The Academy prioritizes the educational well-being and social-emotional well-being of our students. When a circumstance of concern may arise where a student, parent/guardian, or family member may have a complaint, ISA will work to find a fair, reasonable solution with those involved. In the event of a complaint, all concerned members of the school community will be treated fairly, and complete confidentiality will be maintained. ISA faculty and staff are committed to listening attentively and carefully so that a thorough investigation to guide a decision may occur. Students, parents and guardians, and school community members may approach any member of the ISA community with their concerns and complaints including administrators, teachers, counselors, IB coordinators, coaches, and school staff. Concerns and complaints will be responded to within 24 to 48 hours and will be addressed in a timely manner. All communications around concerns and complaints will be respectful and courteous.

• For specific concerns regarding the IB Middle Years Program please contact the MYP Coordinator Mr. Abdiaziz Ahmed. 

• For specific concerns regarding the IB Diploma Program please contact the DP Coordinator Ms. Jalaika K. Hasan. 

• For all other complaints or concerns, please contact the school principals.

ISA is committed to cooperating with school community members in finding practical and reasonable resolutions. Initial discussions, email communications, and/or meetings involving school issues should resolve most concerns or complaints. If a resolution to a student or parent concern or complaint is complex and multi-faceted, the school administration will ensure the provision of additional time to address the concern or complaint so that ISA may strive to work with those involved to reach a fair and workable solution within a reasonable period.
